Danielle N. McDonough spent her childhood being inspired by books. The stories she read, paired with her imagination, allowed her to experience hundreds of adventures to different places and times. Every new book took her to a new world.

As a young adult, Danielle continued in her love of art and fantasy and graduated from Full Sail University with a degree in film. After spending several years working on television and movie sets, she decided to step away from the film industry and pursue her passion for storytelling by writing her debut novel, The Preparations.

It was in Colorado, on a mission trip with her church, that Danielle had a dream which inspired The Legacy series. It took her four years to complete the series, but the journey has been the greatest adventure of her life.
